LUNAFREYA IS TRYING TO HEAL ARDYN OF HIS DEMONS. SHE KNOWS SHE IS GONNA DIE, BUT SHE IS STILL TRYING TO HEAL HIM.

AND THIS LOOK:

IS THE ONE HE GIVES HER RIGHT AFTER SHE SAYS: “When the prophecy is fulfilled, all enthralled in darkness shall know peace.”

AND I AM SUDDENLY VERY SAD FOR ARDYN.

Cause Ardyn despise the gods for doing this to him, and he doesn’t wish to be a pawn in their game after his entire life is because of them. And it is only after she says those words that he attacks her. Cause he does want to be free of those demons and die– but not by the god’s prophecy.
