I was expecting a little more impressive action now that the boy band’s got some screentime. Ah well.
But! Last two shots prove that the Franxx can function with same-sex pairs. That is, if the blondie kid is really male (can’t tell with that voice) and whether or not human concepts apply to the Nines since they may not be completely human themselves. I dunno, somebody get me the science on this. :P
On another note, next half of the show needs to have the pistils and stamens switch positions, y/y?
